About UniKaren Designs: Purchasing a UniKaren Design means you are getting an ORIGINAL outfit. Since I was a teenager, I have been designing and sewing square dance outfits... it's been 40 years now. To this day I still have hundreds of design ideas and I look forward to seeing them come to fruition, and hope that you will continue to enjoy what I create.

Privacy Policy: All items are discretely packaged. Tissue is folded into the outfit to prevent wrinkling as much as possible. Item is then wrapped in plastic before box packaging. A mailing label is placed on the inside parcel in the event the outside parcel is damaged. For items going outside of the country, please inform me as to what you want written on the declaration. I respect your need for discretion.

Fabric: Pink satin, light pink organza Bodice is lined to provide stability. Features an organza overlay down the center, with organza ruffles trimmed in white lace going up the sides of the overlay and to the center back. Ruffles are attached with ruffled white lace. A pretty sequin and pearl appliqué is hand-stitched to the center front. Peter Pan collar is made from the satin, with lining on the underside, and is attached with a poly-cotton bias strip. Lace is sandwiched between the layers of the collar. Sleeves and sashes are made from the organza. The sashes stem from the side seams and tie into a pretty bow at the center back. Sleeves are fully pouffy with white lace trim on the hems. They stand up by themselves due to the nature of the fabric. Full 8-gored satin skirt is hand pleated at the waist seam for a professional finish. The bottom tier is made from satin, with narrow lace along the top edge and wider lace on the hem. All the ruffles are made from organza, with a narrow lace along the top edge, and a slightly wider white lace attached to the serged edge at the bottom. The ruffles go just above the bottom tier and sweep up to the center back, where the center back is then filled with yards and yards more ruffles. Skirt will fit over a 100-yard crinoline (not included). Two hair bows are included, made from the satin fabric, and feature an organza rose in the center. Click for close-up. Bloomers are made from the satin and are fully lined for stability. The back of the bloomers features three rows of organza ruffles finished as per the dress, and attached with ruffled white lace. Pink satin bows adorn the side seams. At the back of the bloomers is a garment label and an elastic, to hang the bloomers on the same hanger as the dress. By request, a bonnet is made to match. It is made of pink satin and is self-lined (in satin), with a large organza ruffle jutting from the head band, and a satin pleated ruffle at the front of the band. The back is shaped like a baby bonnet, with a little elastic feature at the bottom. Pink sashes tie under the chin.
