About UniKaren Designs: Purchasing a UniKaren Design means you are getting an ORIGINAL outfit. Since I was a teenager, I have been designing and sewing square dance outfits... it's been 40 years now. To this day I still have hundreds of design ideas and I look forward to seeing them come to fruition, and hope that you will continue to enjoy what I create.

Privacy Policy: All items are discretely packaged. Tissue is folded into the outfit to prevent wrinkling as much as possible. Item is then wrapped in plastic before box packaging. A mailing label is placed on the inside parcel in the event the outside parcel is damaged. For items going outside of the country, please inform me as to what you want written on the declaration. I respect your need for discretion.

Fabric: Pink satin, sheer pink organza, white & gold trim The pink satin bodice features an overlay of organza down the center. Along the organza overlay are ruffles made with white and gold lace on the outer edges, and narrow flat lace on the inside edges, attached with ruffled white and gold lace. Peter Pan collar is made of satin with ruffled lace sandwiched between the layers. The neckline is made from a bias strip of the satin, and features an organza and satin florette in the center. Full 8-gored skirt is hand pleated at the waist seam for a professional finish. Skirt fit over a 100-yard crinoline (not included). The base is made of satin, and the bottom tier is made the same, with white and gold flat lace finishing the hem, and narrow white lace along the top edge. It is attached with a ruffled white and gold lace. The next layers are made from organza, finished edges are done the same way. The top layer sweeps up to the center back, and in between the sweeps are yards and yards more ruffles to fill in the back for a classic UniKaren Designs creation called "rufflebutt". Full pouffy satin sleeves are hand pleated at the shoulder for a professional finish and elasticized at the upper arm for a comfortable fit. They feature the classic UniKaren Designs triangular overlay which is outlined in ruffles, and there is a pink organza bow at the bottom of the point. Hems are finished with white and gold lace. The sleeves go to the elbow, by request. Center back zipper, with hook & eye closure. ACCESSORIES: Matching bloomers have three rows of pink organza ruffles across the back, attached with a gold trim. They are elasticized at the waist and leg openings for a comfortable fit. The hems are finished with white and gold lace. Two little pink satin ribbon bows adorn the side seams. Center back has an elastic loop to attach bloomers to the same hanger as the dress. A separate apron is made from satin and covered in organza. The ruffles are made of organza and are finished with gold and white lace. The sashes are made of satin. Two little gold ribbon bows adorn the intersection at the waist. A choker was also created as a bonus, since the customer loves a 'high neck" design. It is made of satin with white and gold lace, and features a ribbon and organza bow decoration at the front, with a satin and organza florette to match the center front of the collar.
