About UniKaren Designs: Purchasing a UniKaren Design means you are getting an ORIGINAL outfit. Since I was a teenager, I have been designing and sewing square dance outfits... it's been 40 years now. To this day I still have hundreds of design ideas and I look forward to seeing them come to fruition, and hope that you will continue to enjoy what I create.

Privacy Policy: All items are discretely packaged. Tissue is folded into the outfit to prevent wrinkling as much as possible. Item is then wrapped in plastic before box packaging. A mailing label is placed on the inside parcel in the event the outside parcel is damaged. For items going outside of the country, please inform me as to what you want written on the declaration. I respect your need for discretion.

Fabric: Lightweight pink satin, sheer nylon Color: The color is bubblegum pink. Monitors sometimes display a variation of the true color. Main skirt is made of satin. Bottom tier is designed with wide white flat floral lace, is finished along the top edge with narrow flat lace, is ruffled and attached with ruffled white lace. The effect is two rows of white lace at the hem of the skirt. The upper ruffle is made of sheer nylon (lingerie fabric), with white lace trim along both edges, and is attached with double ruffled white satin-over-nylon lace. It goes all the way around the skirt and sweeps up to the center back. Between the sweeps are yards and yards of ruffles to fill in the classic UniKaren "rufflebutt" design. The bodice is lined for stability for this fragile satin fabric. The front features an attached bib made of two layers of the sheer nylon. The top of the bib is embellished with lace. Over the center is a heart made from the satin, stitched in place with the double ruffled lace. A white satin bow embellishes the center of the top of the heart. The separate apron is made of the sheer nylon fabric, double layered at the base with the ruffles going around the the outside edge. It ties into a lovely bow at the center back so that the ties drape over the ruffles. There are two sets of bodice ruffles. They are made from the sheer nylon, with lace along both edges. The outer ruffle is attached with a narrow ruffled white lace, and the innermost ruffle is attached with the double ruffled white satin-over-nylon lace. Peter Pan collar is made of two layers of sheer nylon, with no interfacing; ruffled lace sandwiched between them. The finishing is a binding of white bridal satin, with a white ribbon bow at the center front. Sheer full pouffy sleeves are made from the nylon fabric, with white lace trim and a white bow at the side. They are serged the shoulder for a professional finish and elasticized for a comfortable fit. White flat lace finishes the hems. The neckline is finished with a hook & eye closure at the back to help keep it closed when zipped up. Matching sheer bloomers are made to look a bit like a classic rumba panty. The back is intended to match the hem of the dress. There are two rows of ruffled wide white lace, and the top layer is the sheer ruffles from the shirt, attached with the double ruffled lace. Two matching hair bows on barrettes complete the ensemble. They are made of the sheer fabric and the center knot is a pink ribbon attached to little barrettes.
