About UniKaren Designs: Purchasing a UniKaren Design means you are getting an ORIGINAL outfit. Since I was a teenager, I have been designing and sewing square dance outfits... it's been 33 years now. To this day I still have hundreds of design ideas and I look forward to seeing them come to fruition, and hope that you will continue to enjoy what I create.

Privacy Policy: All items are discretely packaged. Tissue is folded into the outfit to prevent wrinkling as much as possible. Item is then wrapped in plastic before box packaging. A mailing label is placed on the inside parcel in the event the outside parcel is damaged. For items going outside of the country, please inform me as to what you want written on the declaration. I respect your need for discretion.

All outfits are designed and sewn by me. I take a great deal of pride in my workmanship. Seams professionally finished & pressed. Your satisfaction with the product is of the utmost importance to me. Fabric: Lightweight sheer printed organdy, with a pattern similar to Easter eggs. Yellow satin lining. Description: Classic UniKaren Designs "rufflebutt" dress. Full circle skirt is made from sheer organdy, with attached bottom tier trimmed in white flat lace. The upper layer of ruffle goes all the way around and sweeps up to center back. Between these two sweeps are yards and yards more ruffles. The bodice is holds its shape well with a yellow satin lining that faces the body, so it's nice and silky smooth against the skin. A large Mama Bear looks lovingly at her baby bear who is holding a bouquet of flowers for her behind his back. This large applique is stitched to yellow satin and is trimmed with layers and layers of ruffles. The larger white lace ruffle is hand pleated. Top layer of ruffle is a double ruffled satin over nylon lace. Ruffles jut out from the heart shaped bib, and go down to the center back, where side sashes come together to create a lovely perky bow to finish off the back. Peter Pan collar is made of yellow satin, with white bias trim at the neckline. A tiny white bow at center front gives a dainty finish. Sleeves hold their own due to the nature of the fabric, with elastic for upper arm comfort, and white wide flat lace to finish them off. Sleeves are longer than I usually make, to help cover upper arm area. Yellow bows embellish the sides of the sleeves.		MEASUREMENTS Chest: 44" Waist: up to 43" Shoulder to waist: 17" Waist to hem: 17" Total Shoulder to Hem: 34" Shoulder to shoulder across the back: 17" ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ REMEMBER THIS !! You can always wear a dress that is too large, but you cannot wear one that is too small. Check measurements, please! Here you can see the shadow of my hand under the fabric. Changing the petticoat to pink or lavender will change the overall appearance of this dress.
