About UniKaren Designs: Purchasing a UniKaren Design means you are getting an ORIGINAL outfit. Since I was a teenager, I have been designing and sewing square dance outfits... it's been over 40 years now. To this day I still have hundreds of design ideas and I look forward to seeing them come to fruition, and hope that you will continue to enjoy what I create.

Privacy Policy: All items are discretely packaged. Tissue is folded into the outfit to prevent wrinkling as much as possible. Item is then wrapped in plastic before box packaging. A mailing label is placed on the inside parcel in the event the outside parcel is damaged. For items going outside of the country, please inform me as to what you want written on the declaration. I respect your need for discretion.

"Black Highlights" by UniKaren Designs PHOTOS ARE COPYRIGHT TO UNIKARENDESIGNS. If you wish to use any photos of me modeling my dresses on your website, you MUST obtain permission. Fabric: Dusty rose medium weight satin, sheer pale pink voile, gold & white lace, gold lace, gold & black trim Skirt fits a full petti, shown here on 17" 100-yard crystalline one (not included). Bottom tier is made of satin with flat white & gold lace on the hem, and is attached with a decorative heart-shaped design. A All ruffles are made from sheer voile. Upper ruffle sweeps up at center back of the skirt, and between the sweeps is filled in with more ruffles. These ruffles are attached with the gold & black trim. LINED and DARTED bodice features two sets of voile ruffles across the contrasting chest inset which is made from the sheer fabric. The bottom ruffle is attached with a very fine gold trim. The upper ruffle is attached with gold & black trim. Stand-up collar is made of satin with the voile overtop, and features the gold & white lace, covered with the gold & black trim.. Closure a single snap. Locking zipper comes with two keys. When the slider is all the way up, you lock it into place, and use the key to unlock it to slide it down. Full pouffy sleeves are elasticized for upper arm comfort. They feature the classic UniKaren triangular overlay, finished with gold ruffled lace, and gold & black trim. Pleated at the shoulder for a professional finish, they are finished with white & gold flat lace, with black satin ribbon bows at the bottom of the overlay point. Apron is attached. The base of the apron has one layer of satin, with the sheer fabric over top. The ruffles are made the same as the skirt and are attached with gold ruffled lace, and the gold & black trim. Two black double bows are attached at the intersection of the waist ruffle and the waist seam. Sheer sashes stem from the side seams and tie into a lovely bow over the center back "rufflebutt" ruffles. Wrist corsages consist of the sheer fabric to form the cuff, with adornments made from the colors of the outfit: double black ribbon bow, gold loops, pink organza center.
