About UniKaren Designs: Purchasing a UniKaren Design means you are getting an ORIGINAL outfit. Since I was a teenager, I have been designing and sewing square dance outfits... it's been over 40 years now. To this day I still have hundreds of design ideas and I look forward to seeing them come to fruition, and hope that you will continue to enjoy what I create.

Privacy Policy: All items are discretely packaged. Tissue is folded into the outfit to prevent wrinkling as much as possible. Item is then wrapped in plastic before box packaging. A mailing label is placed on the inside parcel in the event the outside parcel is damaged. For items going outside of the country, please inform me as to what you want written on the declaration. I respect your need for discretion. If you don't specify, it will be labeled as a costume.

Fabric: Royal blue lightweight satin combined with white bridal satin Lined bodice features an attached bib, to create a cute pinafore effect. Bib and ruffles are made from contrasting white satin, and go from front to back over the shoulders. They are attached with double ruffled white satin-over-nylon lace. Inside bodice is lined with royal blue broadcloth to build in stability. Peter Pan collar has double ruffled satin-over-nylon lace sandwiched between the layers and is attached with a bias strip made of white satin. Hook and eye closure. Full 8-gored skirt is serged, and hand-pleated at the waist seam for a professional finish. Bottom tier features a ruffle made from the satin, with wide white lace on the hem, and narrow flat lace along the top edge. It is attached with narrow white ruffled lace. The upper ruffle is also made from the satin, with narrow flat white lace along the top edge, with 1" trim on the hem, and is attached with double ruffled white lace. It sweeps up slightly at each skirt intersection and features a white satin ribbon bow at each lift. A white satin self-lined apron is attached, with a white satin ruffle trimmed in white lace on the top edge and 1" lace on the hem, and is attached with the double ruffled white satin-over-nylon lace. Two white satin bows sit at the intersecting waist seam. Skirt will fit over a 100-yard crinoline (not included). White satin sashes stem from the side seams to create a perky bow over the center back, to help create the illusion of a separate pinafore. Full pouffy sleeves are hand pleated at the shoulder for a professional finish and elasticized at the upper arm for a comfortable fit. Hems are finished with wide floral scalloped white lace. A blue satin ruffle is attached with narrow white ruffled lace. A white satin ribbon bow embellishes bottom of the ruffle. Shortie bloomers accompany this dress, with three rows of ruffles on the back. They are lined with royal blue broadcloth for stability. Elasticized at the waist and leg openings for a comfortable fit. White bow embellishes the side seams. Label and elastic at the center back, to allow to hang on a hanger with the dress. Two barrette hair bows finish off this ensemble.
