About UniKaren Designs: Purchasing a UniKaren Design means you are getting an ORIGINAL outfit. Since I was a teenager, I have been designing and sewing square dance outfits... it's been 40 years now. To this day I still have hundreds of design ideas and I look forward to seeing them come to fruition, and hope that you will continue to enjoy what I create.

Privacy Policy: All items are discretely packaged. Tissue is folded into the outfit to prevent wrinkling as much as possible. Item is then wrapped in plastic before box packaging. A mailing label is placed on the inside parcel in the event the outside parcel is damaged. For items going outside of the country, please inform me as to what you want written on the declaration. I respect your need for discretion.

Fabric: Black shiny satin for the dress, black organza for the black apron, white satin for the white apron. White nylon lace. Skirt fits a full petti, shown here on a 100-yard crystalline one (not included). Eight-gored skirt is guaranteed to fit the fullest petticoat. All ruffles have 1" scalloped flat lace trim on the hem and narrow flat white lace trim along the top edges. Upper ruffle sweeps up at the center back, and between the sweeps is yards and yards of ruffles. The darted satin bodice feature ruffles going from center front to center back. Stand-up collar is made has a two-snap closure at the back. White satin ribbon embellishes the center front neckline. Full pouffy sleeves are elasticized for upper arm comfort. Pleated at the shoulder for a professional finish, these sleeves are made of black satin and are finished with white lace trim to match the skirt ruffles. White satin ribbon bows adorn the sides of the sleeves. A coordinating black organza apron is made with black ruffles and black lace. A contrasting white satin apron is made with white satin ruffles and wide white lace. A white bow is made of white satin, with black organza over the white satin, tied together with a white knot.
