About UniKaren Designs: Purchasing a UniKaren Design means you are getting an ORIGINAL outfit. Since I was a teenager, I have been designing and sewing square dance outfits... it's been 40 years now. To this day I still have hundreds of design ideas and I look forward to seeing them come to fruition, and hope that you will continue to enjoy what I create.

Privacy Policy: All items are discretely packaged. Tissue is folded into the outfit to prevent wrinkling as much as possible. Item is then wrapped in plastic before box packaging. A mailing label is placed on the inside parcel in the event the outside parcel is damaged. For items going outside of the country, please inform me as to what you want written on the declaration. I respect your need for discretion.

"Royal Ruffles" by UniKaren Designs PHOTOS ARE COPYRIGHT TO UNIKARENDESIGNS. If you wish to use any photos of me modeling my dresses on your website, you MUST obtain permission. Fabric: Royal blue satin combined with white satin Bodice features an attached bib, to create a cute pinafore effect. Bib and ruffles are made from contrasting white satin. Peter Pan collar has white ruffled lace sandwiched between the layers and is attached with a bias strip made of the white satin fabric. Full 8-gored skirt is hand pleated at the waist seam for a professional finish. Bottom tier features a ruffle made from the satin, with white lace trimming the top edge, and the hem. It is attached with white ruffled lace. The upper ruffle is also made from the satin, with 1" trim on the hem, and is also attached with ruffled white lace. It sweeps up at the back and between the sweeps are rows and rows of royal ruffles. A white satin self-lined apron is attached, with a white satin ruffle with lace on the top edge and 1" lace on the bottom, and is attached with white lace. Two ribbon bows sit at the waist intersecting seam. Skirt will fit over a 100-yard crinoline (not included). White satin sashes stem from the side seams to create a bow over the center back, to help create the illusion of a separate pinafore.. Blue full pouffy sleeves are hand pleated at the shoulder for a professional finish and elasticized at the upper arm for a comfortable fit. Hems are finished with white lace. A white contrast of satin adorns the top of the sleeve, with lace trim. A soft white satin ribbon bow embellishes the side of each sleeve at the point of the overlay. Bloomers have ruffles across the back, and are elasticized at the waist and leg opening for a comfortable fit. White satin ribbons embellish the sides of the legs. An elastic loop at the center back will allow for hanging of the bloomers on the same hanger as the dress. A royal blue garter finished in white lace finishes off the outfit, featuring a white ribbon bow to sit at the front.
