About UniKaren Designs: Purchasing a UniKaren Design means you are getting an ORIGINAL outfit. Since I was a teenager, I have been designing and sewing square dance outfits... it's been 40 years now. To this day I still have hundreds of design ideas and I look forward to seeing them come to fruition, and hope that you will continue to enjoy what I create.

Privacy Policy: All items are discretely packaged. Tissue is folded into the outfit to prevent wrinkling as much as possible. Item is then wrapped in plastic before box packaging. A mailing label is placed on the inside parcel in the event the outside parcel is damaged. For items going outside of the country, please inform me as to what you want written on the declaration. I respect your need for discretion.

"Stephanie" by UniKaren Designs PHOTOS ARE COPYRIGHT TO UNIKARENDESIGNS. If you wish to use any photos of me modeling my dresses on your website, you MUST obtain permission. Fabric: Lightweight crinkle black taffeta combined with 100% white cotton eyelet Black taffeta bodice features an attached bib, to create a cute pinafore effect. Bib and ruffles are made from contrasting white eyelet. This was made especially for "Stephanie", and as a bonus, the name Stephanie has been embroidered in the center front of the top of the bib. Peter Pan collar has lace sandwiched between the layers and is attached with a bias strip made of the satin fabric. Full 8-gored skirt is hand pleated at the waist seam for a professional finish. Bottom tier features a ruffle made from the taffeta, with white lace trimming the top edge, and wide floral scalloped lace on the hem. It is attached with ruffled white nylon lace. The upper ruffle is also made from the taffeta, with the same lace trim, and is also attached with ruffle white nylon lace. Skirt will fit over a 100-yard crinoline (shown here, not included). White eyelet sashes stem from the side seams to create a perky bow over the center back, to help create the illusion of a separate pinafore.. Full pouffy sleeves feature a wide black taffeta ruffle with wide lace on one edge and narrow lace on the other, to match the skirt ruffles. Ruffles are attached in a V-formation and have a bow at the bottom center of the V. They are hand pleated at the shoulder for a professional finish and elasticized at the upper arm for a comfortable fit. Hems are finished with wide floral scalloped white lace. The center back of the dress features a hidden black organza ribbon in either side of the zipper. This ribbon is long enough that it can be brought together to insert a significant locking mechanism. When the dress is zipped, these loops are not visible. The wearer can wear the lock in the loops hanging outside of the back of the dress for all to see, or it can be kept on the inside of the dress as a secret..		MEASUREMENTS Chest: 42" Waist: up to 38" Bodice: 17" Skirt: 16" Length from shoulder to hem: 33" Across upper back: 17" ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ REMEMBER THIS !! You can always wear a dress that is too large, but you cannot wear one that is too small. Check measurements, please! If you have questions, just ask.
