Beautiful stark white bridal satin is transformed into this adorable baby dress, bloomers and bonnet, inspired by this pattern:
Baby-style bodice, with tiny white teddy bears attached at the seam, with dangling streamers of white ribbon trimmed with gold edges, to catch attention.
Peter Pan collar has wide ruffled lace with bow design throughout.
Full puffy sleeves are pleated at the shoulder, elasticized for upper arm comfort, trimmed with a flat white lace with bow design throughout, and features a tiny white ribbon bow, trimmed with gold edges, at the sides.
Skirt is evenly pleated at the bodice, quite full at 140" around and could accommodate a short petticoat if desired (pictured). Ruffle trimmed with lace on bottom edge, satin stitched along the top, and attached with ruffled lace with bow design. Total length from shoulder only 29".
Bloomers have elasticized waist which stretches to 50"+, and elasticized leg openings to about 35". Legs are trimmed with a narrow white lace.
Bonnet is unique, is fairly narrow across the top of the head, bringing all the attention to the large standing heart shape, trimmed in wide ruffle lace. A second ruffle of satin fits along the front of the bonnet. This one is trimmed with a narrow flat lace. Wide soft satin ribbon creates the tie under the chin, notice the gold edges.
Petticoat is not necessary with this style. The one pictured is not for sale.
